- 2/3 c. butter or oleo
- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 2/3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. nuts (if desired)
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Directions

1Cream the butter and sugar together.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.

3Sift dry ingredients together and add to egg-sugar mixture.

4Add chocolate chips and nuts.

5Mix and spread in greased 10 x 15-inch pan.

6Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.

7Cut into squares.
