  • 1 c. uncooked rice (not instant)
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 c. finely chopped onion
  • 2 cans beef consomme

Directions

    Wash and drain rice.

    Melt oleo; brown rice and onion lightly. (Rice should get almost brown before adding onion.)

    Put in casserole and add consomme.

    Cover lightly and cook 1 hour at 350°.
