  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1 lg. onion, finely chopped
  • 1-1/4 cup rice, uncooked
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. Worchestershire sauce
  • 3/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 2 cans beef consomme

Directions

    Saute onion in butter until just transparent.

    Stir in rice and mix well.

    Transfer rice and onion to a 13x9-inch pan.

    Stir in consomme and seasonings.

    Mix well.

    Cover tightly with foil; bake 1 hour at 350F.
