- 5 large eggs
- 1/2 lb. margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 lb. candied cherries
- 1 lb. candied pineapple
- 2 tsp. lemon flavoring
Directions

1Cream margarine and sugar; add eggs and sifted dry ingredients.

2Add flavoring.

3Add the cherries and pineapple and pecans.

4Bake in greased tube cake pan.

5Start to bake in a cold oven at 275° for 2 to 3 hours.

6(I place a pan of water on the rack under the cake while it bakes to keep it moist.)
