- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 egg yolk, beaten
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions

1Melt butter in top of a double boiler; stir in flour, mustard, salt, and pepper. Combine milk and yolk in a small mixing bowl; gradually stir into flour-mustard mixture. Cook over boiling water 5 minutes or until thickened and smooth. Remove from heat, and stir in lemon juice.
