- 5 slices bacon, diced
- 2/3 c. sliced green onion
- 2 1/2 lb. cut-up frying chicken
- 4 to 6 small white onions
- 1/4 lb. whole mushrooms
- 6 to 8 small new potatoes
- 1 crushed garlic clove
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1/2 c. Burgundy wine
- chopped parsley
Directions

1Saute bacon and onion until bacon is crisp; drain.

2Add chicken to skillet.

3Brown well; remove.

4Put onions, mushrooms and garlic in skillet.

5Add all ingredients except wine and parsley.

6Cook on medium heat 3 to 4 hours, then add wine and parsley.
