- 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. cornmeal
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 egg, beaten
Directions

1Heat oven to 400°.

2Grease 8 or 9-inch baking pan.

3Combine dry ingredients.

4Stir in milk, oil and egg; mixing just until dry ingredients are moistened.

5Pour batter into prepared pan.

6Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until light golden brown and wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean.

7Serve warm.
