- 1 c. yellow corn meal
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1/4 or 1/3 c. sugar as desired
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients together.

2Combine milk and eggs and stir in oil.

3Add liquid to dry ingredients.

4Stir only enough to mix. Grease an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan.

5Pour batter into pan.

6Bake at 400° for about 25 minutes.
