- 3 c. self-rising cornmeal
- 3/4 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 c. buttermilk
- 1/2 c. oil
Directions

1Combine cornmeal, flour and sugar in mixer bowl.

2Mix well. Stir in buttermilk and oil.

3Pour into lightly greased loaf pans. Bake for 45 minutes or until bread tests done.

4Remove to wire racks to cool.

5Serve warm or cold.
