- 3 1/2 c. corn bread crumbs
- 3 1/2 c. crumbled biscuits
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. savory
- 2 to 3 tsp. sage
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 c. hot chicken broth or more, if needed
Directions

1Mix bread and biscuits in a large pan or bowl.

2Melt butter and lightly saute onion and celery.

3Add to crumb mixture.

4Add remaining ingredients and mix well.

5Bake in well-greased shallow pans in a 400° oven for 15 to 25 minutes.
