Ingredients
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1 c. finely chopped celery
- 3/4 c. melted butter
- 4 c. toasted dry bread cubes or crumbled biscuits
- 3 c. crumbled corn bread
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 2 c. broth (from cooked chicken)
Directions

1Brown the onion and celery in butter in a heavy skillet. Combine with bread cubes, corn bread and seasonings.

2Pour on the broth and stir lightly to blend.

3Stuff fowl and roast according to weight of bird.

4This amount of dressing is for a 4 1/2 to 5 pound bird.

5For larger fowl double the amount.
