  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 (16 oz.) can whole kernel corn with liquid
  • 1 (16 oz.) can cream-style corn
  • 1 (8 1/2 oz.) box cornbread mix
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Melt margarine in 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Add cans of corn, cornbread mix and chilies.

    Mix with a fork.

    Add onion and sugar. Add beaten eggs and spread evenly in pan.

    Drop sour cream by spoonfuls on top and fold in gently.

    Sprinkle cheese on top. Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes or until firm.
