  • 8 wieners
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2/3 c. cornmeal
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. milk

Directions

    Sift dry ingredients together.

    Add milk and egg, mixing well. Insert skewer lengthwise into each wiener.

    Dip or roll the skewered wieners, one at a time, in the batter and fry in deep hot fat (400°) until golden brown.
