  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. oil

Directions

    Combine all the dry ingredients.

    Add egg, milk and oil.

    Take 1 pound of hot dogs and dip each one in the batter with a fork. Fry in a wire basket deep fryer until golden brown, about 3 minutes at 375°.

    Drain on paper.
