- 1 can whole kernel yellow corn
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- salt to taste
- oil to fry in
Directions

1Combine egg and milk; stir in flour and salt.

2Stir in corn and make a fairly thin batter.

3Drop by tablespoons and fry 3 or 4 at a time in heavy saucepan until golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towels and keep fritters warm in 200° oven while frying remaining cakes.

4Makes 10 fritters.
