  • 6 egg yolks
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 2 heaping Tbsp. self-rising flour
  • 5 level Tbsp. corn meal
  • 2 unbaked pie shells

Directions

  1. 1
    Cream butter, sugar, flour and meal. Mix milk, vanilla and egg yolks. Mix milk mixture and flour mixture together. Pour into unbaked pie shells and bake at 350° until firm. Top with meringue if you like or leave plain.
