- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. milk
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients together and stir in cornmeal.

2Melt butter; add egg and milk and combine well.

3Stir liquid ingredients into dry and combine just until moistened.

4Fill greased muffin cups and bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.
