  • 2 c. cut okra
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1 can tomatoes or 3 medium size tomatoes
  • 1/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1/4 c. bell pepper
  • 1 celery rib, chopped

Directions

    Place cut okra in baking pan or dish.

    Season with salt, pepper and garlic to taste.

    Add chopped onion, bell pepper and celery.

    Sprinkle with flour and fry on low heat until onion is limp.

    Add corn and tomatoes and continue cooking on low heat for about 30 to 45 minutes.

    Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
