- 3 eggs, separated
- 2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
- 1 (17 oz.) can cream-style corn
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 (5.33 oz.) can evaporated milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Beat egg whites until stiff.

2Set aside.

3Beat egg yolks slightly and combine with shortening, corn, sugar, flour, milk and seasonings.

4Fold in beaten egg whites.

5Pour into a buttered casserole dish.

6Bake at 350° until it sets like a custard (about 45 minutes).

7Serves 4 to 6.
