- 1 (No. 2) can golden corn
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 medium-size can mushrooms
- 3 slices bacon
- 6 sprigs parsley
Directions

1Melt butter and add flour, stirring until smooth.

2Add corn, salt, pepper and sugar.

3Add unbeaten egg yolks.

4Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

5Remove from fire and add mushrooms. Fold in the beaten egg whites and pour in buttered baking dish. Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 300° to 350°.

6Garnish with parsley and with bacon, cut in small pieces and fried crisp.
