- 2 c. fresh, canned or frozen corn
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 2 tsp. salt
- white pepper to taste
- 2 c. milk, divided
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 pt. heavy cream
- chopped parsley
- crumbled bacon
Directions

1Combine corn, butter, onion, salt, pepper and 1 cup milk in a skillet.

2Simmer 15 minutes.

3Pour into blender and mix until smooth.

4Stir remaining 1 cup milk into flour.

5Pour into saucepan.

6Add corn mixture.

7Cook until thickened.

8Add cream; heat thoroughly.

9Serve garnished with chopped parsley or crumbled bacon.
