- 2 tsp. sugar
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 c. buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/3 c. oil
Directions

1Combine all ingredients.

2Put generously greased corn stick pans in 475° oven and preheat for 5 minutes.

3Remove and add corn bread mixture.

4Pans will sizzle.

5Bake at 475° for 12 to 15 minutes.
