  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp. butter, melted

Directions

    Mix and sift flour, cornmeal, soda and salt.

    Combine egg and milk.

    Add to flour mixture, stirring until well mixed.

    Stir into butter.

    Turn into greased bread stick pans and bake in 425° oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
