Ingredients

  • 3 large apples, chopped
  • 1 can pineapple chunks, drained (save juice)
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese (mild)
  • 1 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. plain flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 c. liquid (pineapple juice and water)

Directions

    Layer the first 4 ingredients in a dish in order listed.

    The remaining ingredients will be cooked for a sauce.

    Combine remaining ingredients in pan; cook over low heat until thick.

    Cool and pour over Apple Salad.

    Mix together just before serving.
