- 3 large apples, chopped
- 1 can pineapple chunks, drained (save juice)
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese (mild)
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. plain flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. liquid (pineapple juice and water)
Directions

1Layer the first 4 ingredients in a dish in order listed.

2The remaining ingredients will be cooked for a sauce.

3Combine remaining ingredients in pan; cook over low heat until thick.

4Cool and pour over Apple Salad.

5Mix together just before serving.
