  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 1 small can tomatoes with green chiles
  • 1 box Jiffy cornbread mix
  • 1 small (8 1/2 oz.) creamed corn
  • shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Brown ground meat and drain.

    Add tomatoes and cook until well mixed.

    Prepare cornbread according to box directions and add corn to batter.

    Pour half batter into greased 2-quart casserole dish. Top with meat and shredded cheese.

    Pour remaining batter on top and spread more cheese to cover.

    Bake at 400° for 30 minutes or until cornbread is golden brown.
