- 6 c. crumbled cornbread
- 4 c. crumbled biscuits
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 3/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. broth
- 1 tsp. sage
Directions

1Heat oven to 375°.

2Grease 9 x 12-inch baking pan.

3Cook on low heat, onion and celery in margarine until tender.

4Add onion and celery to the crumbs and seasonings.

5Stir in beaten eggs and enough broth or hot water to make a moist mixture, about the consistency of cornbread batter.

6Pour into greased pan and bake about 30 minutes or until browned.

7Don't overcook.

8Dressing should be moist.

9Cut into squares.

10Serves 10 to 12.
