Ingredients
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 c. celery, chopped
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 4 c. dry bread, cubed (6 slices)
- 4 c. cornbread, crumbled
- 2 1/2 c. canned or fresh chicken broth
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 tsp. sage
- 1 tsp. poultry seasoning (or Tony's)
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Saute onion and celery in margarine until softened.

3Mix bread cubes and crumbled cornbread in a large bowl.

4Add beaten egg and chicken broth.

5Stir in onion, celery and margarine.

6Add sage, seasoning, salt and pepper.

7Mix well. Spread dressing in pan.

8Bake 45 to 60 minutes.
