Ingredients
- 5 slices bacon
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- 2 stalks celery, chopped fine
- 6 c. cornbread, crumbled
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 3 tsp. margarine, melted
- 2 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Brown bacon and remove.

2Saute onion and celery in bacon drippings.

3Add this to crumbled cornbread.

4Dilute soup with one can of water.

5Add melted margarine, poultry seasoning and pepper to soup.

6Bring just to boil, stirring to blend.

7Pour soup over cornbread mixture.

8Add eggs.

9Stir until all is mixed thoroughly. Butter an 8 x 8-inch pan.

10Place cornbread dressing into pan. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
