  • 1 lb. bacon, browned and crumbled
  • 1/2 c. bacon drippings
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 2 c. water
  • 6 c. cornbread crumbs
  • 1 tsp. sage
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. pepper
  • 2 c. broth (chicken or turkey)

    Combine all ingredients.

    (Mixture should be very moist.

    More water can be added if needed).

    Cook in a 13 x 9-inch pan or baking dish for 30 to 40 minutes (until browned slightly on top) at 350°.
