- cornbread, baked with onion and celery in batter (1/2 c. each chopped onion and celery)
- sliced or chopped chicken or turkey
- sage to taste
- 2 or 3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 1 can cream of celery or chicken soup
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 to 3/4 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Crumble cornbread and mix with sage and pepper (be sure to taste).

2Add enough broth to make a moist stuffing.

3Layer half of stuffing in casserole dish.

4Add chicken and then layer chopped eggs.

5Mix sour cream and soup and pour over all.

6Top with remaining stuffing.

7Bake at 375° for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
