- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 c. milk
- 1 medium cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 c. or 1 can corned beef
Directions

1Melt butter; blend in flour and stir until smooth.

2Remove from heat; gradually add milk.

3Return to heat; simmer until smooth and thickened, stirring constantly.

4Cook cabbage and onion in boiling, salted water for 8 minutes; drain thoroughly.

5Combine cabbage mixture and corned beef pieces and layer with sauce in greased 3-quart casserole.

6Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
