Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 loaves white bread
  • sugar and cinnamon mixture
  • 2 sticks margarine

Directions

    Mix sugar, cream cheese and egg yolks until creamy.

    Cut crusts off bread and roll until flat.

    Spread cream cheese mixture on each slice of bread and roll up.

    Melt butter.

    Roll each blintz in butter and then in sugar-cinnamon mix.

    Place on cookie sheet and put in freezer for 1 hour.

    Bake 15 minutes in 400° oven.

    These can be stored in freezer and baked as needed.
