  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped walnuts
  • 2 c. cornflakes

    Beat egg whites in a large bowl.

    Beat in sugar gradually. Beat in salt and vanilla.

    Fold in nuts and cornflakes.

    Push with teaspoons onto cookie sheet lined with brown paper.

    Bake at 300° for 20 minutes until surface is dry, but not brown.

    Yields 2 1/2 dozen.
