- 4 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 c. coconut, shredded
- 3 c. cornflakes
Directions

1In large mixing bowl, beat egg whites until foamy.

2Stir in cream of tartar and vanilla.

3Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff and glossy.

4Fold in pecans, coconut and cereal.

5Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto well-greased baking sheets.

6Bake at 325° for about 20 minutes or until lightly browned.

7Remove immediately from baking sheet.

8Cool on wire racks.
