  • 1 stick margarine
  • dash of lemon juice
  • dry sherry (approximately 3/4 c.)
  • poultry seasoning to taste

Directions

    Mix in saucepan to taste until margarine is melted.

    Add more seasoning, if necessary. Remember to make the sauce a bit strong to give the hens more flavor.

    Baste frequently as the hens bake in a 350° oven for approximately 1 hour (longer, if necessary, for the hens to brown).
