  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 lb steak, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 2 cups diced peeled potatoes
  • 2 cups diced carrots
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 34 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 12 teaspoon dried basil
  • 12 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 14 teaspoon black pepper

    Prepare a saucepan with nonstick spray.

    Combine the round steak, potatoes, carrots, onion and mushrooms in the saucepan and cover with the water.

    Add the seasonings and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

    Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring often, uncovered, until carrots are almost done.

    Most of the water should evaporate.
