- 1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/3 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. plus 2 Tbsp. buttermilk
- 2 Tbsp. yogurt
- 1 egg, beaten
- vegetable cooking spray
Directions

1Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl.

2Combine milk, oil and egg; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.

3Drop batter by heaping tablespoonfuls onto a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.

4Bake at 400° for 12 minutes, or until lightly browned.

5Cool on a wire rack. Yields 1 dozen biscuits.
