- 1 lb. sausage
- 1 large onion
- 2 eggs, beaten lightly
- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- 1 can cream-style corn
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/4 c. oil
- 2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Heat oven to 425°.

2Grease 10 1/2-inch skillet or 2-quart baking dish.

3Set aside.

4Brown sausage and onion.

5Drain well. Combine eggs, cornmeal, corn and milk and oil.

6Pour half meat mixture into dish.

7Sprinkle with cheese.

8Pour remainder of batter over top.

9Bake for 30 to 40 minutes.

10Let cool 10 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
