- 4 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- 1/2 c. fine cornmeal
- 1 small can cream-style corn
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
Directions

1Set oven at 425°.

2Melt butter in oven in cornstick pan or shallow muffin tin.

3Mix meal, flour, baking powder, soda and salt together.

4Mix corn and egg; stir in cornmeal mixture until just mixed.

5Stir in hot butter and pour into sizzling pan.

6Bake about 25 minutes or until golden brown.

7Makes about 10 ears or muffins.
