- 1 1/2 cups cottage cheese
- 4 tablespoons butter melted
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon flour, all-purpose
- 1 each lemon zest
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup raisins, seedless
- 1/2 cup nuts chopped
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 each pie shell (9 inch)
Directions

1Press the cheese through a sieve 2 times.

2Add the butter, sugar, salt, flour, lemon rind, unbeaten egg yolks, chopped raisins, nuts and milk.

3Stir well.

4Beat the egg whites until stiff.

5Fold into cheese mixture.

6Pour into the pie shell.

7Bake in moderately hot oven (400 F) for 30 minutes or until browned and firm.
