Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 750g lean minced beef
  • 2 cups finely chopped assorted vegetables (eg. carrots, peas, celery)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon VEGEMITE
  • 1 tablespoon mixed dried herbs
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 3 large (700g) potatoes, peeled, cooked
  • 1/2 cup KRAFT* Ranch Dressing
  • 1 cup grated KRAFT* Cheddar Cheese
  • steamed vegetables or salad, to serve

Directions

    Heat oil in a large frying pan over a medium-high heat.

    Add beef and cook until browned.

    Add vegetables and cook a further 5-8 minutes or until vegetables are just tender.

    Stir in water, tomato paste and Vegemite* until well combined.

    Simmer 5 minutes.

    Mash potatoes, add salad dressing and grated cheese and mix until smooth.

    Spoon meat mixture into 6 small greased oven proof dishes, top with mashed potato and bake at 180C for 15 - 20 minutes or until lightly browned.

    Serve with steamed vegetables or salad.
