  • 4 large potatoes
  • 2 c. cut up meat (like for chop suey)
  • 1 medium green pepper, cut up
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. oleo
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 (1 1/2 oz.) envelope onion soup mix

Directions

    Peel and dice potatoes (1/2-inch pieces).

    Cut in small amount of water for 5 minutes.

    Drain.

    Combine with leftover cut up meat and salt in buttered 2-quart baking dish.

    Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour.

    Gradually add milk, stirring constantly over low heat until mixture thickens.

    Pour over ingredients in baking dish. Put in 350° oven, covered, for 45 minutes.
