- 6 or 7 potatoes
- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 1 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 3 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 pt. sour cream
- 1 tsp. each: salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 c. cornflakes
- 3/4 stick butter, melted
Directions

1Boil potatoes no more than 3 minutes with peels on.

2Cool. Peel skins off and grate.

3Add next 7 ingredients; mix well.

4Put in greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish; cover with foil and refrigerate overnight.

5Next day, preheat oven to 325° and bake for 45 to 60 minutes.

6Uncover and spread cornflakes and melted butter on top; bake 10 minutes more, uncovered.
