  • 3 c. whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1 large egg
  • about 4 c. all-purpose flour

    In large bowl, combine salt, yeast, and whole wheat flour.

    In small saucepan, over low heat, heat 1 2/3 cups water until very warm (125° to 130°).
