- 4 lb. rump roast (beef)
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. stock or tomato juice
- 1/4 tsp. Tabasco
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Place fat side up on rack in a roasting pan.

2Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

3Spread onion slices under and over roast.

4Cover and cook 2 1/2 to 3 hours at 350°.

5Remove from pan and make gravy.
