Ingredients
- 6 slices bacon
- 1 c. diced onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green peppers
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 2 (1 lb. 13 oz.) cans tomatoes
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 (12 oz.) can whole corn, drained
- 1 (16 oz.) can red kidney beans, drained
- 2 c. potatoes, cooked and cubed
- 2 c. carrots, cooked and sliced
Directions

1Fry bacon until crisp; drain on paper towel.

2Crumble and reserve.

3Saute onion, green pepper and garlic in bacon drippings until tender.

4Add ground beef, cook until well browned, breaking up with a fork as it cooks.

5Add tomatoes, salt, pepper and chili powder.

6Cover and simmer 30 minutes.

7Add vegetables.

8Simmer 15 minutes.

9Sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
