Ingredients

  • 1 lb. crabmeat, cooked and flaked (do not use imitation!)
  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. catsup
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. pickle relish
  • 1 Tbsp. diced onion
  • approximately 1/2 c. cracker crumbs (to bind mixture together)

Directions

    Combine all ingredients, mixing with a fork.

    Form into 7 or 8 thick patties.

    Coat both sides with finely crushed saltine cracker crumbs on waxed paper and fry in skillet with minimum hot Crisco until lightly browned on each side.
