Crab Cakes

  • 1 lb. lump crab meat
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. chopped green onion
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 3/4 lb. shrimp
  • 3/4 c. heavy cream
  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. Tabasco

Directions

    Put shrimp in food processor; add egg, salt and pepper. Process until blended.

    Slowly add heavy cream while processing. Remove from processor and add mixture to crab and carefully blend. Add mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco and onion.

    Shape into patties and put on cookie sheet.

    Refrigerate until ready to cook (at least a half hour).

    Fry until golden brown in oil.
