  • 1 small can crab meat or 1 c. backfin crab
  • 1 to 2 tsp. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 tsp. Lawry's seasoning
  • 1 (4 oz.) jar Old English American cheese spread
  • 1 pkg. English muffins, split

Directions

    Cream the cheese and butter together; add crab meat and seasonings to mixture. Split muffins, then quarter them. Spread crab meat on muffin pieces. Place muffins on cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes or until canapes begin to turn golden. Best when served warm.
