- 1 lb. picked crab meat
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 4 to 5 stalks celery, chopped
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 recipe white cornbread
- 3 to 4 slices white bread (optional)
- 1 to 2 eggs
- water
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions

1Saute onion, pepper and celery.

2Crumble cornbread into dish. Cover with sauteed mixture.

3Mix well.

4Crumble bread slices into mixture.

5Add eggs.

6Blend well.

7Mix by hand.

8Add crab meat. Add enough water to make pliable.

9Salt and pepper to taste. Spread in casserole dish.

10Bake at 350° until golden brown.
